We’re very excited to announce that the new Purple platform is here and ready for you to get your hands on. We’ve got lots to cover in this email including:

Enhancing new technology, the new platform is built from the ground up, offering lightning speed. We’ve built a brand new user interface with a fresh and fluid user experience. Our reporting capabilities have evolved into a true enterprise-class analytics solution giving you unlimited customization of your guest WiFi data.

Switch-over to new - Week commencing January 7th, 2019
You'll still be able to return to the legacy portal once the new platform has been deployed in January.
We’ve had the new analytics in beta for a few months now, where we introduced a completely new way of interrogating data in Purple with a single report view and a number of filters and settings.
Since then, we've added a huge number of additions to the analytics including:
- Underlying technology now uti lises Google Cloud and Google BigQuery
- The ability to display reports by hour
- New reports
- New filters

Our Twilio Connector is now available to set up in Purple. For SMS verification, we've allowed a grace period until January 11th, 2019 for you to set up your Twilio account or use an existing Twilio account. To continue verifying your WiFi users via SMS beyond this date, you will need to have Twilio in place.
If you currently use the SMS marketing functionality in Purple to engage with your customers and visitors, you will still be able to do this until January 31st, 2019, at which point this will also transition over to Twilio. The fair usage policy will continue to be in place during this time.
